Nigel Pickard
Nigel Pickard was born in 1966 in West Germany.
The son of a soldier, he spent his childhood in various parts of
Germany, Hong Kong, the south of England, and, finally, Yorkshire.
He is currently a Deputy Headteacher in an inner-city comprehensive
in Nottingham. Shoestring Press published his first poetry collection,
Making Sense, in 2004. One, his
first novel, was published by Bookcase in 2005. He is married with
two children.
