Wendy Soliman

Wendy Soliman was brought up on the Isle of Wight.  During her adolescence, apart from riding horses, her abiding passion was writing stories.  Four years ago she unearthed a book she’d written many years ago, which rekindled her interest in writing.

Since then she has had three Regency romances accepted for publication by Robert Hale, and is working on a fourth.  She attributes much of her early success to the sound professional advice she has received from Hilary Johnson and her team.

Wendy now lives in Andorra with her husband, Andre.

The Carstairs Conspiracy

Abigail Carstairs suspects that someone is trying to kill her.  As sole heir to the late Duke of Penrith’s vast estate she can only surmise that her fortune is her aggressor’s objective and in desperation turns to the notorious Lord Sebastian Denver for assistance.  Unable to deny a lady in distress, Sebastian inveigles his way into Abbey’s hunting lodge, where all the people with expectations in the event of her demise are gathered.

Distracted by his admiration for her courage, Sebastian is unprepared when a further attempt is made on Abbey’s life.  Delving into her past in his search for clues, Sebastian lays a daring trap to expose the villains, aware that keeping her safe can be his only reward, since his reputation must preclude any form of permanent attachment.

But Abbey, untroubled by the dictates of society, has other ideas.
